370z Smoked Taillights
4 Attachment(s)
So decided to get them smoked out instead of black. I felt that capturing a Ruby Red/Smoke effect will allow the overall look of the car to flow better..... I am happy with the results and have attached some pics, if your interest
PS: I took pics on iphone and did not clean car....sue me :tiphat: http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1299876248 http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1299876248 http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1299876248 http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1299876248 |

Think you made the right decision, looks good on the red.

Good work

looks great!
|
Love it. What did you use for this?
|
looks good! and most likely it the same taillight tint everyone uses to black their lights, but just one coat instead of two. But correct me if im wrong.
|
Looks good!
I like the smoked look better than the black too. I used vinyl overlays for my tail lights. Did you use the overlays too, or did you get them painted? |
looks great i kinda did the same thing but i left the reverse lights alone
|
they were painted and then cleared... some used the cans mixed with paint and clear. nothing beats paint and clear separate.
Its just a few costs lighter than black.. Considered medium black I guess. But this was done professional at a paint shop. I SUCK at painting lol |
