cutting the front bumper wasnt a problem at all - but to answer your last question first, yes those are the 350Z ducts as tmk there are no ducts for the 370Z expect the very expensive varis units. The ones I used came from ebay for a very affordable price and as you can see they fit the 370Z almost perfectly !

along with the ducts you get a stencil - unfortunately only for the drive side but you can simply use it for the passenger side by putting it on in reverse.

I used a simple paper cutter to make the outlines on the bumper and then used a bigger cutter to get through the bumper - its not very thick so no problem !

later on I discovered that the stencil is not very accurate in terms of size so I had to modify the opening with the tool you see on the second picture but as a starting point the stencil is not too bad.

and yes, this mod would be very nice even for stock air boxes !
