I will let people come up with their own conclusions about this bumper.

woah

Sweet! I'm happy with my current OEM CF bumper but I might swap out to this eventually, let us know how it fits, carbon pieces need pretty intensive installs.

The only piece that is carbon fiber is what is shown in the pics, everything else is fiberglass. Hopefully it will install as smoothly as Simota's from carbon signal...

Looks sick. But why didn't you get the FRP with CF inserts? You're probably gonnabpaint it anyway.

Idk lol, this is what Jamaica over at UA sold me, this is what you get when you order amuse replica kit from them.

370Z JT 03-01-2011 05:47 PM

Oh. Gotcha. Thought it was full CF.

Glad you go it. :)

The whole bumper is not all CF. Its partial CF. The center section is. You can either multiple paint schemes or leave it all CF. A customer from Australia left it all CF with his black cherry and came out amazing. I was honestly surprised. Have fun with the bumper.

If it was full CF it would triple the cost. I actually made one for a customer overseas. FULL CF. NOt cheap by any means.

The weaves a little loose but it happens in molds. Just paint the back black and you won't notice. It's easier to keep the weave tight when covering stuff but a lot harder when pressing it into a mold.

So, this UA and Carbon Signal are both made by Shine Auto Project ??

bullitt5897 03-02-2011 09:33 AM

Jamaica Developed the kit and shine produced it for him.

Red__Zed 03-02-2011 10:22 AM

Looks good. I've heard that it's pretty standard to get some loose weaving.

puckshaw 03-02-2011 01:39 PM

I'm far from a CF expert but I wouldn't be thrilled with that much light peaking through the weave. So you guys are saying this is par for the course? I find that hard to believe.

Mr&Mrs 03-02-2011 08:25 PM

I just got my full kit today, and im very pleased. Most people paint over the CF, if its to loose for your taste throw some black paint behind it problem solved.

metz 03-02-2011 09:28 PM

Yeah plain weave isn't very tight. Itll pull apart in the curves.

Waiz 03-02-2011 10:43 PM

Tasty!

revrav 04-16-2011 05:56 PM

Any pictures of it installed? :D

Not yet, still trying to decide whether i want to paint it, or get the entire car wrapped in a flat matte PG vinyl
