Gas indicator

Not that I am complaining or something, but after a 60ish miles ride (started with a fuel tank), the gas indicator doesn't even drop. Is this normal?

Your "gas dots" should at least be down by two (2) at the 50 mile mark.

Rockstar 04-05-2009 12:29 AM

Weird, it doesn't even drop a dot :(
Should I be worried?

iceman21_23 04-05-2009 01:24 AM

Are you reading it while the Z is started or in the "ON" position?

Rockstar 04-05-2009 11:02 AM

Iceman: It was all highway.. Come to think of it I googlemap the distance it comes down to 50.9 miles. So that could be it.. hopefully. I will take it for a drive later today and see.

Socal: ON I think? I mean I noticed it while I was driving home last night.

Dont be worried, mine does it too. Sometimes I drive for a long time without losing a dot. The problem is that once you lose a dot...they start disappearing faster :)

Ah thanks :) and yes the next day after we got out of the garage it dropped a dot :)
Thanks everyone

I knew the new 370's had several on board computers. But I didn't know they had their own email address. 50miles dot com. Now that's cool

:rofl2:

I know my try at humor is beyond belief and I would never make it as one of Leno's writers.

50 miles on a 19 gal fuel tank is nothing

ssqpolo 04-07-2009 08:27 PM

90% of my driving is hwy and when i fill up, my first dot goes around 65 miles...then it drops around every 25-30 miles.:driving:
