When dropped my car off at the tint shop the guy before me had a ridiculously lifted white chevy silverado, that was getting the 20% removed from the windshield to put 5% all the way around!!! I couldn't believe it!

I have had tint on my front windshields for years. I will give you my feedback. Anything more than 70% will impair your vision. I have had 50% before and it was OK in town with street lights at night. At night in rural areas it would majorly decrease your vision. In heavy rain storms it will impair your vision. 70% Ceramic is the only thing I will use. The reason for it in the south is heat reduction. I also run a 5% legal strip at the top because I drive into work with the sun in my face in the morning.

I have 3M Crystalline 90 on the front windshields of my Z and the wife's Infiniti. It's completely clear yet cuts heat as well as 70% tint. Keeps the vehicle interior cooler during summer temps.

I too have what appears to be a clear tint on my front windshield and helps with UV and heat. Here in AZ you need whatever you can to help keep the oppressive heat from frying you and your cars interior.

Yeah, I've driven in cars with 80% and 70% and you'd really never know the tinting was there, but the heat/uv... benefits were very noticeable.

Limo tint on the front windshield FTW. Make sure the car is self-driving though!
