Carbon Fiber sideview mirror
I think it looks good
50/50, would need to see it on another color.
I don't understand the desire to cover everything in carbon fiber. I think it looks good when it serves a functional purpose as a lightweight part, such as a full hood or fender. But when it's just for looks I don't really like it. Probably would look better on a dark color car though.

Is that just a piece of CFRP attached to the stock side view mirrors? Something similar to what Zele Performance released for the Z34 a while back? If so, then no thanks. I'd rather get a real carbon fiber mirror replacement. It might look good, but this CFRP piece only adds weight, instead of trying to achieve what most enthusiasts use carbon fiber for. |
Where can we buy real CF mirrors that aren't shells stuck on with 3m tape? I want to replace interior trim with cf also...
i voted no, if it's an overlay....not really worth...if it was a real piece of carbon fiber that replaces the plastic there...then maybe....lol
i think they would look good.

I voted on what the title said "Carbon Fiber sideview mirror" If they are "real" where do we buy? On the black car I think they would look great.

There not too bad.

It all depends on how well the cover fits. Most of the aero kits are simply clad over—not integrated—onto the body (this holds true for some of the aero pieces onto the NISMO 370Z model). :twocents:

^ these are not aero pieces, which provide function. These are just for looks. Seems like a waste of cash to me.
absolute waste of cash.
Carbon Covers are for posers. Not to mention that a carbon replacement would weigh the same thing as the stock plastic ones.... Don't get me wrong. I love carbon fiber and the way it looks when it serves a real purpose. |
