As for the screws, I chose a #6 or a #8 don't remember. So I drilled through the plate to match the 2 indents on the black plastic and relied on the thread on the black plastic to hold it. So far so good. I drove it a few times already and after the drive, I checked to make sure the screws did not rotate or loosen and it didn't. What's really neat about this idea is that there's no need for the big bracket, and nothing is touching my paint. And when I remove it, the holes are BARELY visible. I also plan to cover with either black silicone or electrical tape, or both. Definitely not visible then. I will take pics and post later. It still sucks in general to have front plates, but........... what can I do... our cars stick out like sore thumbs to these cops. They see sports car, and they automatically single you out. Annoying.... but what can I do.

I totally forgot about it. Here is the pic I promised. Notice that I am NOT using the bracket, and am only using two #6 screws directly into the black textured portion of the bumper. When the plate is off, the holes are not visible unless way up close. I also plan to cover it up with the similar diameter electrical tape

Thank you for the pics! I was looking at this last night wondering if I could just screw it directly into the plastic. I still don't think I'm willing to put any holes even in the plastic piece, but I'm glad to see it's an option.

Yeah I had the Stillen plate on my G35C before the Z... it was "okay"... nothing special, if anything it was way over priced. Also, for the Z, I don't like how it's offset. To me, it looks kindda ricey, but that's just me. If you try it and like it, great. The route I went is simple and clean and the wholes are not visible if I decide to go plateless
