That's some amazing work as usual Tony. But as good as your CF skills are, when CF is applied to lights, just makes it look.........APC-ish. Just IMO though. Amazing work, just wrong application IMO.

In for price! But for the people questioning about heat. Carbon Fiber withstands heat amazing. I have engine bay parts that are done with just regular resin. So I dont think the headlights will get as hot as those. But if they do, they also make a High Temp resin that could with stand pretty much any heat. I have seen people make ATV racing exhaust tips with it. And by looking at the work I have seen these guys do I dont think we will have to worry about bad parts. But thats just my 2 cents

yes you are right carbon can take a lot of heat, but what it does not is the resin the only company so far that has a temp proof resin is GM and is using it in the ZR1 everything else with heat will turn yellowish, take a look at the porsche carrera gt (google carrera gt carbon fiber yellow)

I found a blog (The Real JDM) where a Japanese 370Z had true CF headlight housings:

^ Those look sick, but I can't imagine the time they put into it, I guess they can afford it since labor is so cheap there lol. They probably walk across the street to someone, and have them do it for like $40.
