370Z sport pkg wing questions

I have a 370Z with the Sport package rear wing. I am thinking about upgrading to a Nismo wing. Does the Nismo wing mount in the same holes as the factory sport package wing or will I have to drill more holes and fill others??

I am 99% sure the answer is no, it does not use the same holes as the sport spoiler. It has been discussed before, do a search for the Nismo spoiler.

I searched but came up empty handed.

No. I believe the NISMO wing requires a few extra holes and the base doesn't cover all the holes left by the stock spoiler, so you'll need to have them filled.

Or, the easiest solution is to find someone without a spoiler to swap hatches with, then drill only the holes necessary.

Do you mean s tune or nismo wing? Rcz has a replica nismo wing on his sports model z.

Though the Nismo replica isnt exactly the same as the actual Nismo rear spoiler, it requires drilling new holes as well, same deal. I will be ordering it very soon so Ive looked into it. Swapping for a base hatch is your best bet, but it can be hard to find somebody local. I have a few PMs from people who have swapped hatches so if you want more details let me know.

That's about the only bad thing about the SP. Going to a different spoiler/ wing.

Check this, RCZ replaced his sport package wing with a Nismo style one: http://www.the370z.com/members-370z-...tml#post575318

yea honestly....if its an option you should see if you can get a shop/dealer to do it....it seems like everyone who tries to take off the stock spoiler has destroyed it. myself included. GL with it. 3m tape thou is a heartless bitch
