Thumbs down Interior and tails went out

Last night I put in LED interior bulbs and for the plate. Everything went smooth, plug and play. This morning I pulled out of my driveway and everything is working great. I'm driving down the road a few minutes and my tail lights and almost all interior lighta illuminating the stereo, steering wheel, and heated seat buttons went out. Brake lights working while I press the pedal and dome lights work too, as well as my speedometer/dash lights.

You guys think there's a short caused my the LEDs? Or a fuse? I checked fuses by my foot on drivers side and they appear fine. I have not looked under the hood.

Absolutely not. I left the house this morning and everything was working and just driving down the road I noticed the lights on the radio went out. I didn't touch a thing.

I never have it on auto. And now the lisence plate bulbs won't lift either. Dome and trunk LEDs work fine.

Guess I'll have to pop the hood and look for a fuse

I've checked everywhere for a lighting fuse. I don't see any fuses for tail lights or anything. Just "Room Lamp" and thats the dome lights.

Come on, somebody has to know what the solution is.... is there ANOTHER fuse panel, besides the one by the clutch pedal or the one near the battery that only has like 10 fuses in it?

Perhaps I'll have to chuck the factory bulbs back in and bring it to Nissan?

I disconnected each of the LED lights and still my tail lights don't come on unless I press on the brake.

I blew a fuse trying to put an LED bulb in the rear foglight. Not sure what the issue was so i just put a reg bulb back in.. didn't feel like messing with it..

Now, yes there are actually 2 fuse panels in the engine bay.. The one you are looking for is near the battery, kinda mounted on the fender wall. Pull of the battery compartment cover (the whole thing, undo the clips) and you should see it.. Its about 5 inches wide and like a foot long. Mounted vertically. I think there might be a screw or something holding it in place.. You should be able to unbolt it and there are probably like 40 fuses in there. There is a big wire bundle that is attached to one end, but there should be enough slack to pull it up and out of the hole that its in.

Good luck.

And I'm not implying that you are. Sometimes, a person can overlook the obvious, that's all. Wanted to make sure it wasn't simply just that it was accidentally switched to "off" while using the turn signal, for example.

What Liquid said. The brake light and dome light I think are on a separate fuse, you have a bad fuse now for the tail and interior lights. XwChriswX had the same issue before. It's a PITA to get to the fuse you need to replace, I think it's in the panel by the battery, but not quite remembering correctly. Go to the service area and download the service manual (not the owners manual!), look at the wiring diagrams, then trace it to the fuse bank.

Yeah, this hidden fuse box was the location of the tail light fuse I had to swap after popping one during my fog light install. It's kind of a bitch to get to, but it does have a lot of fuses in it.

You wouldn't happen to remember what size fuse it is would you?
