Is there a company out there that makes a bolt in 5 point harness for the z And any experience with Recaro seats vs factory for everyday driving.

I personally would advise against a 5 point harness for the street. If not installed correctly it will be much more dangerous than any OEM seat belt. Also, in order for it to be as effective as possible your looking at having it tight to the point it won't be comfortable for long. But if it is what you want to do I doubt there is a bolt in harness. At a minimum i would say you need to get a harness bar and a belt that will work with your seat of choice. From research I've done you can get harnesses in 2" or 3" widths. I think others can give you opinions on what seats will fit in the car. If or when you do install the harness, please make sure to install the harness properly so that you aren't putting yourself at any increased risk of injury.

What's the purpose for you car?

If you have a street car, you don't need and shouldn't get a harness. If you're making a track car, do it right and put in a full cage along with an appropriate harness. There's no point in putting in a 5pt harness on a DD car except to feel like you're Paul Walker.

Cleared that up! So I'll have fun driving daily all the time.

The idea of a five point harness appeals to me......I've been flying for a living for 35+ years and value this sort of thing.
