You might get lucky, and the wiring harness will accommodate your request, but I doubt it. Wires cost money, and in 2009 Nissan likely did not make provisions for the North American market and heated mirrors although standard in the Japan. Hey, but I could be wrong. Only an actual inspection will tell.

I don't know how that works. If there is a different harness or what not. Then if it would activate when the defrost is prompted. When I saw mine had heated mirrors I thought all model had them. Guess not.

You don't get heated mirrors in the US? I'm glad we get something considering the amount we have to pay in the UK!!

I think the heaters turn on when you put the car in defrost mode. It shouldn't be that hard to wire up given that you have the wiring diagram for the heated mirror wires. You can use a relay to turn it on using a new sw or tap into the defrost sw wire.

Well, considering the fact that the wiring harness is already in place for a fog light, I would not be surprised in the least if there is already a provision in place on the '09s.

I've looked into this. I think the wiring is there. Even if it's not, you can tap the heated mirror into the mirror adjustment circuit and just let them stay warm all the time. Frankly, that would be better than having to turn on the defrost (my older Audis had the heated mirrors all the time). This would keep the mirrors clear when you go from outside into a warmer parking garage, which is a prime time for my mirrors to fog.

Replacing the mirrors costs about $350 per side if ordered through the dealer. So I bailed on the idea.

If I was going to swap mirrors it would be to a less massive one. Are these the same mirrors from the titian?
