I'm not a fan of the Nismo. Lacks any charisma!! Looks boring and non functional and really does not match the natural curves of the car! The EVO product looks like what it is, a flat piece bolted to the stock rocker. I like the skirt to look like it came that way from the factory.

i agree.

Not so sure about that Amuse kit. None of the seams on the skirts or rear bumper line up too great in that picture on the previous page.

That's because they applied a few photo effects that distort the image. I've seen both of the Amuse cars in person, and the gaps are very even. If you don't believe me, just as Phelan, he's got the kit on his car ;)

Do the Evo-R sideskrits fit the nismo sideskirts as well ?

kielbasa16 02-25-2011 11:39 AM

Does anybody have pictures of the Stillen side skirts installed aside from the one on Page 3? If I can be convinced fitment wont be an issue I think Ill be ordering, but would love some more shots.

I just ordered EVO-R's side skirt and rear diffuser. I should probably call it a side blade as it mounts under the stock side skirts. I like the look and the fact that in flat black both pieces will match my flat black rear wing, front splitter and canards. I had Stillen's side skirts but they DID NOT FIT my vert. I still have not seen anybody post that they have had them fit on a vert. Thanks Jay for returning my e-mail due to an incorrect shipping addy on my pay pal.:ughdance:

RCZ, I'll sell you my nismo (non s-tune) sides for a good deal if interested

Just keep them and get some Shine Auto rear add ons, it will look good. Then get something for the front, maybe even a Nismo front bumper when the time is right. (too many rock chips, damage, etc)

I think this looks really good. I am doing the Nismo (non s-tune) sides and shine auto rears like this.

For anyone interested in the real nismo sides, I got them for sale, $480 shipped

Zele IMO look the best, but as i've already got the CF Amuse kit minus the wing (come on rick with that VIII wing). I'm thinking of using the Amuse skirts with the CF EVO-R side blades, on an angle with little to none showing in the front and coming out more and more as it goes to the back. What does everyone think of this ??

Fire 02-26-2011 07:36 PM

Kaien, I don't think it would be possible. If you look at the 3/4side view on page 3 from kellyefields you will see a body line just to the rear of the door. I'll be able to tell you for sure once mine (EVO-R) comes in and I can line it up on the body.

KaienZ34 02-26-2011 07:39 PM

Thanks fire i look forward to seeing the pics. Do you have the amuse sides already on ? I've seen the evo-r blades on the angle like i'm talking about on stock sides. I'll see if i can find a pic of it.

KaienZ34 02-26-2011 08:33 PM

Ok so this is not evo-r blades but the ones VIP sells, but i think that they are pretty much the same.

From looking at these pics and having the amuse sides on I think it would give you a little lip but not much since the amuse pretty much comes straight down from the door, etc. also I have found that with the amuse sides I find myself sometimes catching the lower edge with my foot when getting out since it is straighter than the original so for those getting these you may want to use caution when exiting the vehicle.

KaienZ34 02-26-2011 08:49 PM

Thanks for the info, are you lowered and if so on what and how low. I'm still at stock height/suspension it's just a little lower than stock due to the 20inch rims with smaller side wall tires.
