stock shifter is far from the feel of this knob (changes the "whole feel of the tranny"), only thing i want is to get it to sit lower damn shift pole had to be diff this time around

I think I would end up with a bruised hand if I used a metal shift knob, I'm fairly forceful moving it through the gears.
