The insurance can also get you if you drive a lot, so that is worth looking into.

I've had several places quote around $800 for the clear bra-- which I highly recommend.

I love my Z as a daily driver. I do not regret getting, nor do I want a clear bra. I put on an acrylic wax and it might help reducing chips, as I have few.

thank you guys for the informative responses.

I was just curious about the Z as a DD. I'd live near the base which should be less than 20-30mile a day to and from compared to others who'd drive about 45min-1hr one way.

getting over 20miles per gallon in a city is not that bad compared to having a big truck that gets about 18 or less and has a bigger tank. You can't really beat having a sexy car as a DD. I guess even if you have driven the car for over a year you guys still turn heads and looks from the ladies. Although, the looks from the ladies wouldn't apply to me since I am married already and she won't like that! lol

In addition, I will definitely get a clear bra for the car witha mininum application to the front half of the car.

thanks again guys!

I use my 2011 370Z as a DD and also recently had the Clearbra put on the entire front bumper/headlights/mirrors and first 24 inches of the hood. It's actually made by a company called LLumar. Also they put it on part of the rear quarter panel. They also tinted my rear windows and the two small side/back windows and this all was done for $550. I called around alot and found a special from this place. They did a very good job. I've only got 500 miles on my car but so far love driving it. My insurance (AAA) only went up $59 for 6 months. My prior car was a 2007 Toyota Camry SE.

$550 for all that? That is a super deal. The best price I could find here in San Diego was $950 for a full front clear bra which I decided not to get. From what I've been hearing is realistically the clear bra may only last a year and heard stories of Nissan/ Infiniti paint is not so great and has had issues with peeling from clear bra removal after a year or longer? Not sure how often this happens though.
I plan to just wax the hell out of my front end.

After experiencing severe paint chipping over 5 years on my other 2003 350Z, and considering i drive 50 miles a day commuting on freeway, I decided a clear bra was a MUST when I got the 370Z.

700 for for bumper, hood head lights, and mirrors. Very happy with it. 1 year + and 10K miles and absolutely no blemishes.

Good luck with the new purchase.
