I believe metallic because of it's High quality. They said only problem I will face is not clear AM stations. I laughed and told them that I haven't listened to am stations since 94! Everything else (fm radio, cellphone, navi, keyfob etc) will work fine.

yea but rarely (and never that i've ever seen in nissans) metallic tint can interfere with TPMS sensor signals to the car, we had some issues with that in some caddy's, mostly CTS' and SRX's that had aftermarket tint on the front windows...

again, this wasn't typical, i've got metallic tint on my front windows in the truck and have never had a problem ever

I never had any problems with the tint except for a shorter keyfob distance. I didn't have TPMS on my 350Z so, I really can't comment. If I remember correctly, 370Z doesn't have TPMS. I gotta double check the owners manual.

think all 2006 models of everything had to have TPMS, thank you US DOT:ugh2:

Yes, there are TPMS senders on each of the wheels, saw them when I got my tires changed.

I'm kinda bummed that it didnt have the multi computer readout of the realtime PSI per wheel like the 350z had... I loved that feature.

AK, that looks great. 40% is perfect. I got my altima done at Shades of Gray. Great quality work. I got 30% all the way around and it turned out darker than I thought. I will definitely be getting 40% on my Z.

Yeah, you would think that it would have been ridiculously easy for them to add to the little computer doohicky. The computer is already getting the information, it just has to display it. Maybe there will be a software update and we'll be able to plug our cars into the internet. :)

I live in SoCal, so I got 32% all around tint done by the guys at Car Audio Heaven. They used my favorite tint brand, Diamond, and did a great job. only downside is that i had to leave my windows up for the last 2 days and its been absolutely beautiful here in San Diego.

Weak Spot

I was driving the other day and made a shocking discovery. Tint area close to the side view mirror is peeling. I called Shades of gray and set up an appointment to come in.

Upon arrival, I was told that some G37s have this issue as well. This is NOT something new but they didn't expect 370Z to have it. They are actually going to pay extra attention to this area on all incoming 370Zs. They quickly removed my old tint and put a brand new tint on - no questions ask. Their installation carries lifetime warranty . I have also noticed that instead of having a corner, they cut an oval shape border by the side view mirror area this time. So, if you're getting your tint done, tell them to pay special attention to this area and if possible cut an "oval" shape border instead of a corner. Also, tell them to use the heat gun for a little longer than usual and keep the door open (they may forget sometimes that our glass DOES go up/down )
