Are you able to do this with a matte finish?

209Z 01-26-2011 04:08 PM

I highly recommend carbon fiber element. Always kept me posted by texting me on a daily basis and keeping me up to date with pictures =]!

Yes, but haven't yet....no one ever asked for it...its just a different clearcoat when its done.

ThoriumHotdog 01-26-2011 05:22 PM

Wow. Looks great.

JB-370z 01-26-2011 05:36 PM

can you send me a pm with pricing info?

christian370z 01-26-2011 05:37 PM

You have essentially corrected what I believe are two of the cheapest looking interior pieces: the door pull assembly and the switch panel. I cannot wait until I can get some parts done up by your guys!

NewYorkJon34 01-26-2011 07:13 PM

hey tony how can I get that door handle cover carboned? I should have looked when I had my speakers done. Pics look really good bro, after our project maybe i'll get some more of your awesome products.

Can you do something with the matte clearcoat and post a picture of it?

What about a matte carbon engine cover...?

I can but i have never done it. No one ever asked and went through with it. All it is, is an additive in the clearcoat that gives it the matte finish.

A suggestion to customers:

Many parts that you may want wrapped are tough to be without for a week or two if you daily drive your Z (door handles, for instance). If you go on Courtesyparts.com, you can buy many of these parts at very good prices. I'd have them shipped right to Tony to save on some shipping costs. Overall it's definitely more costly, but just wanted to throw the option out there.

Seeing these pics makes me want to get some more parts wrapped. Tony, I may be sending you some stuff shortly.

NewYorkJon34 01-28-2011 06:58 PM

^ya but a lot of us dont want to buy parts that we already have, it may be an eye sore for a week, but it's not that bad.

Carbon Fiber Element 01-29-2011 12:50 PM

Couple pics of parts shipping today...Door Panels.

Great work, I think that the carbon fiber door panel section is a bit much but your quality is spectacular. :)

I am debating on getting the rest of my center console wrapped. I have everything from the armrest to the ac vents :) and plus some. Tony is a trustworthy guy and you just cant go wrong with him.

do a google image search of matte carbon fiber to get an idea of what it would look like. Personally I think you are onto something. Im not a fan of how shiny/glossy the typical carbon fiber finish looks and I think with a matte finish it still has the nice carbon fiber texture without all the glare. Looks more classy, but hey, to each their own!
