I guess I should have spoken up sooner so I didn't miss the special discount train but I've been watching this pretty closely waiting for finished pictures
So far it looks really good and I'll be waiting for you to finally give up the details but these are fiberglass right, or are they carbon fiber? Our OEM fenders are already pretty lightweight aluminum right so should we expect and additional weight savings from these? (As long as their not heavier?) More importantly though you said these will be functional right, with the purpose being to pull heat out of the engine bay? Do you need to make any modifications to the structure behind the fender to facilitate engine cooling, it looks pretty well sealed up back there? I'm probably putting to much thought into this but could there be any issues with these cracking over time, due to temperature, or on the track or anything? Particularly on a convertible? Apparently they are supposed to still have a pretty stiff chassis but I'm sure they must flex more then the hardtop does

actually the front fender vent behind the wheel is to eliminate front wheel aero drag, since air off the wheels tend to go forward as its spinning, disrupting the airflow and blocking the air behind the wheel, so it will give a better flow and with the air flow some of the hot air from the brakes will go out as well. i am not an aerodynamics expert but i did lil research and that was the outcome will be anouncing how these are going to be structured very soon. Thanks.

Thanks, that makes a bit more sense. I was wondering if they would have any effect on brake cooling as well so that's good to hear. We would have to trim some of the wheel well liner though right in order to give the air someplace to go? are you planning on having any sort of pluming and/ or air management behind the fender or will the path be narrow enough that it doesn't need any direction? (I imagine there is very little room back there)

Carbon, how easy is it to replace the fender on these cars? Is it a bolt off bolt on affair or is it decidedly more complex?

Pretty sure there bolted on from what I've seen just from removing my front clip and headlights. Most body panels are. I do think there rear panel is bolted and welded on.

So,as we promised and the wait is over... IMO those fenders look hot but its waaaaay hotter in person.
Coming from a 350z background, one of the sexiest ever bodykit produced was the Amuse superleggera bodykit, sooo bad when it was out my project was almost finished in terms of exterior so i didnt go for it ... so once docaam approached me for fenders, nothing else came into my mind but those... After removing the OEM fenders, we noticed how complex is the OEM hangers under the headlights. and since the fitment and strength was main concern, we decided not to go for a full Fiberglass version since making those hangers will be risky, instead we decided to render the OEM version with the design we wanted. and we believe that this is the right choice: 1- The OEM fenders will never have fitment issues. 2- The OEM fenders are already light weight out of the box. 3- NO need for more aggressive offset to make the wheels flushy since its already OEM fitment. 4- There wont be an issue of durability since all the fitment which goes on the body is OEM metal part, rest fiberglass, keeping the overall weight almost the same as OEM fenders. We are currently working out the cost to announce the final pricing and offer schemes, as start we are looking for a minimum of 5 sets confirmed with deposit which will cover the cost of the production and then it will be available for everyone. The first 5 sets will be on a very special pricing 1) 2) 3) 4) 5)
