Man. Looks good. How easy is this to mess up?

Use the marker to color about 6 inches of the stitching then use the damp rag to wipe off the excess. Then use the dry one to wipe it down further. That's all there is to it. |

Did it look maroon as well or actual red..?? I have a red Z so my obvious choice is to go with red.. |
I'm one of the few who would want maroon if it's close to the blackcherry
|
orange would match pretty well maybe?
|
If I had black exterior I could see orange claspers and orange stitches

I too would like maroon to go with my cherry z. I think red stich would clash

This is a great idea. Loving it. Next thing on list is to try and find a good "Painters" pen over here in Italy. Don't want to have to wait on one in mail if I can't find one!

italy must have walmarts...? what doesn't?

I was going back and forth about wether to do red or blue and when I saw the maroon color on the seats I just decided that blue would look better. I really only did about 18 inches of stitching on the passenger seat when I made the decision to switch. Honestly I think I got lucky that it covered the red. It wouldve looked like crap if it didn't. If you want the maroon color then use the red fabric dye marker and not the acrylic paint pen. |
I was waiting for Tony to pop in here (2theextreme) because this would be one more blue mod.. .but I forgot he had orange seats :D
|
man i love these little things to find on the forum, simple but looks great :)
I might have done it in red, but car is booked for interior redone in alcantara and leather |
