No the head light bulb is stock, the only thing thats changed is the 194 marker lamp with a led and the turn signal/parking lamp with a 60 led switch back lamp that is white while the parking lights and or head lights are on then it instantly turns amber when the turn signal is turned on.

I've bought from them before, pricey compared to other stores but their bulbs are top notch. Thanks for the info!

Thanks, the reason I was asking is your main headlight bulb has a nice blue tint to it, not too much not too little.

I also have the ordered the 194 parking light led's and am awaiting their arrival.

Not trying to thread jack, but I ordered some 6000K HID bulbs and tried to replace my headlamps the other night. When I installed one of the bulbs, I tested before I reinstalled the fender liner and the bulb flickered and just turned off. I then tried the other bulb with the same result.

Any ideas ?

Here are the bulbs I ordered in 6000K

Morimoto 3Five D2S (35w) - HID Bulbs from The Retrofit Source Inc.

By any chance did you touch the glass part of the bulb with your fingers?

No, I made sure that I didn't touch them. I have done headlight bulb swaps before. The bulbs also came with some alcohol wipes to wipe bulb before installation... I have no idea what happened. I replaced the stock one and it worked perfectly ??

I was wondering if I was sent the wrong wattage bulbs, would that make a difference ? The packaging didn't say what wattage they were.

Their web site says it is compatible with OEM DS2 if the stock bulbs work then it must be something with there bulbs.

Yeah, I am 100% sure it was not installation error. I have already contacted the company and am awaiting a reply. It just sucks, cause it's a real pain to get in there to change the bulb without removing the wheel.

I think I'm just going to wait until I receive all my bulbs so I can do it all at once.

Headlights are looking great on your car !!!

I don't know where to get the projector lens (CinCity worked on my headlights). The lens cuts down the depth for the bulbs. I made some triple Luxeon Rebel bulbs, but the bulb was too tall with the heatsink and resistors. Plus, it sat too close to the lens which ruined the diffused look.

Next time, I will ditch the resistors and opt for a BuckToot driver externally wired inline with the turn signal wires. The bulb will end up shorter, so it'll fit nicely.

However, the next time I do any of this stuff I may end up getting another set of headlights and start all over.

^ Did you work on your existing set and endured some down time? Also, did you use the heat gun method to separate the housing? I wonder if it's safer than the oven method. My current headlights started to develop some stress cracks, and the paint cracked and is spewing some caramel-like substance near the turn signal.

I put them in the oven on a cookie sheet and wet towel heated them up to 250-260 deg for 10 minutes and it came apart,as far as down time I don't drive my car in the winter I work on it so it doesn't really matter how long it takes. One thing that I'm not sure if guys are doing it is to use easy-off oven cleaner(yellow top)to remove the chrome then you have clear plastic to prep and the paint will adhere,my painters at work(I work in a body shop)also used adhesion promoter to make sure the paint has something to stick to.The caramel-like substance is more than likely melted paint.

That sucks, heat could have "toasted" the plastic and its showing now. Next time, what about wrapping the whole thing with a wet towel instead of just putting it on the bottom. That should avoid the plastic from receiving direct heat. Just an idea, I haven't tried it. ..Those projectors look very nice!
