Thanks for the link :) $2500 for it? That seems high.

Jjaden 04-19-2011 04:51 PM

Glad to see 370ztune selling it but when you are charging $2500 for a front bumper I think Fujimira shouldn't be shocked if a replica comes out.

I still don't see how the price goes from $1800-$2500 for a tiny bit of carbon in the front opening.

Still love the bumper, just not in the budget right now at that price...

Exactly! If you price yourself out of the market, you can't blame the guy who can do similar cheaper.

Also if Fujimira was worry about replicas in the US. They would import their products here and not rely on another company to "scalp" their products here.

And besides. Asia is all about copying other peoples' IP. So they shouldn't be surprised when someone does it to them.

Anyone every get one?

Price yourself out of the market, really? You might want to do some research on how much other front bumpers cost, this one is on par with others.

Why should Fujimura auto be in the US when they have good reliable importers already? If you have not noticed a lot of Japanese aftermarket auto companies are leaving the US and relying more on their importers to bring in their product, welcome to cost cutting.

Yes because China = all of Asia.

phelan 05-22-2011 12:50 PM

A lot of Japanese aftermarket auto companies are also leaving because when they make their stuff more available in the USA, people just walk up, buy the part, and make a replica almost instantaneously.

docaam 05-22-2011 02:28 PM

Parts in japan are expensive either bodyparts or performance compared to US made parts. I agree price is insane when kits like zele, chargespeed, veilside sell their for half of that price.

I think i am in love..

I still need to talk to Jamaica about the Amuse rear bumper + installation, but if UAM decides to make a replica of this front bumper then it will be perfect..

I've done plenty of research, I cannot name a single other front bumper for the 370z for over $2000, yet this fujimura one sells for around $2400-2500, so yes they have priced themselves out of the market.
