I'm really confused about what happened? They repoed the bodywork and wheels, or you just new it was going to get repoed so you stripped all the parts and just let it sit there in that condition for them to come get?

I guess I came to terms with it about 5 months ago knowing it could happen so it really doesnt bother me at all. I was in complete denial in october and november.
I knew about a month ahead of time so I sold all my aftermarket parts so its essentially right back to stock besides the $4k in custom body work on the rear bumper, rear fenders, and molded spoiler...unfortunately the most valuable parts of the car. It was more dramatic to tae pics in that condition, I put stock side skirts and stock front bumper back on. Last edited by Zerafian; 01-19-2011 at 08:31 AM. |

This economy stinks, but I am learning slowly that money is nothing. If you can be happy making a certain amount and just living life, then dont stress. Things will pick up, and youll have a bumper on in no time lol.
I remember when I had my Z, I took my bumper off and drove for a bit and ruined my splash gaurds big time, did you remove them? |

Weird how this came up, I was talking to a 350z owner today and he dropped in a few $$$$ in his car, he asked me so whats the plan for your 370z, I said pay it off before I drop money in it...he looked at me really funny, I know from experience of others this exact same thing happened to my brothers prelude 6 years ago, he invested $$$$$ in that car and he got repo'd because the Army booted him out and didnt have a way to pay it off 5K left still OMG, but your right you shouldnt be ashamed this situation could happen to any one of us, my advice to you is ensure the credit bureaus and the bank do not screw your credit, especially since you been paying it while you were employed for X number of years, start from scratch wait then buy the 390z when they come out if ever, anyway extremely sorry to hear that and good luck to ya
P.S this goverment economy BS is gay to the 5th power, they are spending $$$$$ on making breathalizer's mandatory in every vehicle before you can start your engine, but they wont spend time thinking of a bill or law to protect people who lose their job from situations such as this. Just my 2cents...worthless Last edited by 370zHawaii; 01-20-2011 at 04:00 AM. |

Sorry to see this happen to any Z enthusiast, especially one with an Armenian sounding forum name!
Hope you get back on your feet soon, and are on to your next fun car soon.

Thanks for sharing this OP. I know it's probably not easy to talk about. Give it some time and I'm sure you'll be driving a Z again. I don't know your financial situation, but I can relate to wanting to add a lot to the Z before it's fully paid for.... something that's not easy to do with so many nice rides on this forum. Luckily I've controlled myself.

Yours is my favorite 350z I've seen. What was the name of the front bumper, side skirts and rear spoiler? They look amazing, I hope a front bumper similar to that comes out for the 370z.
Sorry to hear about your loss man, I'm slowly building up my Z and the more personalized it get's the harder it would be to part with it. Last edited by Jjaden; 02-07-2011 at 09:01 PM. |

If only you had the government to bail you out. Its funny because your problem is a direct reflection of the crisis this country just went though; specifically the real state market. I'd like to say this is entirely your fault, but its clearly also because of the mentality this entire country carried up to 08. Now you think you've learned your lesson...but the cycle will repeat again and again. Just make sure you don't get caught in it next time around.
