Rear bumper cover repaint... some ideas.
A few months ago some idiot was too close to my rear bumper when he switched from the left lane to the far right lane and scraped my bumper.
This spring the bumper will be repainted. This is an opportunity to paint the lower section matte black and remove the 370Z logo. As for the burger emblem, there's nothing good out there so I'm not sure what to do at the moment. Would it look weird to fill it in? I'm also getting the CF INGS +1 kit installed, and I wonder if I should get a "fin" for the rear bumper. I like the lip kit because it is subtle, but a CF "fin" would stand out too much. I may personally lean towards color matching, or leave it out altogether. [sigh] What do you guys think? Current Look (Stock)

One of these days I am going to bite the bullit and get the black chrome nissan burger emblem from courtesyparts. But it is just ridiculously overprices... Matte black looks great on my rear bumper and I am sure he would look great on yours.. The black chrome emblems would be nice too but at 60-80 dollars each its ridiculous...
here is a 335xi black chrome emblem ... look at the price... wtf? Shadow Vehicle Emblems for BMW - JleviSW works out to 20 bucks for 335i ... Each letter is 5 bucks, and I saw them on another site for 15 bucks.. our hambugers are around 80 each, than the 370z logo is just about the same... 240 bucks on black chrome pieces of molded plastic... yikes... I believe someone did them on a blue Z and they looked great though... SoniaZ i believe did them.

Here is a crude photo chop of shaving the rear emblem: I think it would look good!

Thanks, Christian for the PS. I've got several more months to think about it haha.
Black chrome is definitely a plus on PG. There are a couple of burger emblems of slight interest which is the one that replaces "NISSAN" with a "Z." The other one is a large "Z" burger emblem. Since it's the Z33 logo, it clashes with the existing Z look. Also, it appears these emblems only work on the front bumper. There's barely a good selection for the 370Z. If they had the emblems I wanted, I would probably put the big "Z" on the front, and little "Z" on the rear. What do you guys think about the CF add-on pieces for the rear bumper? Would it compliment the INGS +1, or would it get too ricey? In fact, it has been a year since I placed an order for the rear CF valence with SpawnAero. That would've been the way to go by itself.

Haha no... just the odd reflection from the sunset. Cool... I guess I can get away without the extras and rid the emblems.
[EDIT] I'll update this thread with new pictures this spring.

At least remove the 370z logo. It's real simple to do and it really cleans the back end up well. I'm thinking about possibly removing the rear emblem and painting the rear valence black (my car is solid red) to minimize the exaggerated rear end of the car. The front emblem, if you're keeping the front fascia stock obviously, needs to stay imo. The front debadged just doesn't look right. In my personal opinion of course!

The front bumper will stay stock, and it will simply have a CF lip. I was thinking about replacing the burger with the one with a big "Z" on it, but then it would start looking like an Opel.

DIGI, I've already removed the 370Z emblem and if it wasn't for replacing the stock bumper with the AbFlug rear, I would be removing the Nissan "burger". I don't think it would look odd removing it. I've already debaged the front....I'd debage it all....but that's me. Good luck with your decision!

^ Thanks, my final decision is do debadge the rear bumper cover when getting it painted.
What do you guys think about rear splash guards to compliment the INGS +1 CF lip kit? Is it a bit much? Carbon Fiber Splash Guards At The 370ZSOURCE!!!!!

I like 'em! But, I'm a bit of a CF freak.
