I really want some cf for the b pillars on the z, got some on my wrx in between the windows and have always liked the look. But will cf fabric they use hold up to the weather? I wouldn't think so. The kind I have on my wrx has a thick clear coat, maybe a polyurethane?

Carbon fiber is your friend.

Looks great...my dad was big into CF. I need to get back into it...

I had a ton of CF work done in my Celi and I will probably do some (totally unnecessary) interior work. But hey I like the look. Might go with a CF hood.

I actually just bought some of that material that is shown in the bimmer from E-90. It looks really good compared to all others that I have seen. It is really easy to work with.

I think if it is done right and in a minimalistic fashion, it isn't too bad. In reality you aren't going to see much of a weight savings by making real carbon bits compared to just wrapping them and at a much cheaper cost.

If one is really really worried about weight savings, chances are they are going to just rip all the stuff out rather than get the piece in CF.
