Project Matte White z34 with Amuse rear
After 1 week of work in the garage @ -5 celsius, the project is finally completed. The entire car is wrapped with matte white vinyl and some cf vinyl. The work is done by myself and my 2 other frds. I will get a better photo of the entire car later on when the weather is nicer. Here I also want to give thanks to Mike @ 370ztune for the process of ordering and shipping the Amuse rear. Hope u all enjoy it~open for any comment and suggestion. There are too many pictures so I put them on photobucket. Cheers~

 very well executed!!! I like what you did with the amuse rear bumper and the cf accent over the tailights! exactly how I would have done it! ;) Beautiful car! I hope you get to enjoy it on the road soon
how much did it cost you/
Take some pictures outside. Looks really cool though. Are the vinyls going to hold up once you start driving it on a daily basis?
wow that come out nice!
Thank you! Looks awesome!! Now I want to see a matte blue!!!!!
good job man! You should come out and let me see it sometime!

Matte blue<3 dope work dude
huh!
matte blue / red / black / white / orange would all be dope colors!.
Everything looks dope except the cf vinyl and tinted lights. Really brings the look down IMO. any plan for rims? Maybe I missed that. Lose the cf vinyl at least and it's def hot. Good job on the wrap tho, turned out very good....just my opinion
thanks for the comment~I will get the pictures of the whole car once the weather gets better. The vinyl will definitely hold up to the weather for at least 5 years. This is my demo car for car wrapping, so we tuck the vinyl into every weatherstripping and seams it won't come off easily under any kind of weather condition. And Nitrouz u can definitely come and check it out when u have the time. I live in Richmond give me a shout if u wanna drop by. As to rims I'm still looking to go either CE28 genesis edition or the black RE30, but they r both very expensive hoping to see if there are any used one around. The material cost to do the whole car is around $1300 due many cf vinyl r used, so the price is higher than usual matte vinyl.
^ there was just a ce28 genesis for sale, you just missed it. re-30s might be an easier find.
Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:tup:woooow great work...
You made your car matte white? So basically it looks like white gel coat primer now? Wow, fail.
very cool

Good work:tup: |
this is such a waste of time and money.
That might get dirty easy.
The car looks sick! What did you do to tint the headlight lenses?
awesome photos and awesome Z!! Love the Amuse Kit!
thanks again guys~ the headlight is actually a tinted film that u wrap on the headlight. Like some said that matte wrap is very popular and common nowaday, but I found most of them r matte black on the streets of Vancouver. I decided to go with matte white and some cf accents to stand out more. Some like it and some might not, but I'm not gonna say matte is cooler than the other. It all comes down to whatever how the look of the car is perceived by the crowd, it's the heart and the work of the owner that they put on their car is what matters. I will get the pictures of the whole car asap, but the weather here in Vancouver is just not that great for pictures. I will have pictures of my car with other matte-wrapped cars taken asap.

Seriously, if you do things to your car, some people aren't going to like it and if you post that stuff on an internet forum, some of those people are going to give you less than positive feedback. I also liked that you went to the tried and true "different" and "unique and novel" lines. Perhaps I should do a rusted hood and roof rack on my car? I haven't seen that done on a Z yet. Since it would be "unique and novel", then by definition it would be awesome, right? |
You seen bambi? Remember thumper?

I think everything looks great! The only thing the throws the flow off for me is the side skirts :icon14: I think you should do them matte white
I love the look, no doubt!
I actually really like it. I hate that the side skirts come up so high but besides that it is fantastic.
And Jessobear, there is a right and wrong way to say you don't like something. Take a hike. |
Thanks for the suggestion~ I was thinking about doing the sideskirt matte white as well, but what came to my mind is that probably in the near futre a lot of people r going to do matte white for the entire car, then my car won't be unique anymore. Plus the cf is just vinyl sticker, if i don't like it anymore, i can always go back to matte white~ thanks for the advice about taking pictues with a graffiti bg. I will definitely look into that. I'm redoing the cf roof tonight, so soon i will take pictures of the whole car over the weekend.

Good luck with your decision but I vote matte white side skirts ;) |
thanks for the suggestion. Like I said before sooner or later there is gonna be a trend of matte white, instead of going full matte white i wanted to do something unique. I can always change it if i got tired of it lol~
That came out pretty nice! Like some said, I would've done the sideskirts in white too, but overall it looks awesome.
+1 to Bullitt too. People need to learn how to be a little friendlier in here...writing "FAIL" is just dickish. |
I'm really impressed. I didn't think I would like it seeing the thread title, but it's really clean.
I think expel makes a film that will
Do this. Is that what was used? The car looks great but I do agree The sideskirts should have been white. Very nice work never the less. I like |
Fail !

My buddy here has a matte white G35 coupe. There's also a matte white DB9, a matte white LP640, a matte white E92 M3, and a matte white F430. All here in our town. You should get together and do a photoshoot.
