Getting tint done this weekend but not sure on %.
OIn Sunday I'll be taking my chicane yellow 370 in for some tinting. I live in VA were the popo can be a bit picky somtimes. I was wondering if 30% would look ok or if 20% would look better?
Basically I just dont feel like getting a couple tickets over tints since this will be a daily driver for a few months. |

I had all my cars (BMW, Lexus, and Z) done with 35%.
It is not too dark or too light. It looks classy with the regular black color, don't do the reflective kind. No tickets yet for the last 20 years - knock on wood. |

I am not sure how your laws are in VA but in AZ we can tint the rear windows as dark as you want. We need to have the front 33%.
Having the dark in the rear and legal tint in the front makes the front windows look darker than they really are. You can see on the picture that the right window is very light when you look through from the inside. |

Heres a couple pics of mine with 15% tint in the bright sunlight. I can see well enough for it not to be dangerous.

I had my 370Z done at 35%. It looks darker than my other cars that have the same 35% tinting. because 370Z is smaller and has less window area for sun light to get in the car. It is going to look great with all around 30% or 25% on the chicane yellow. |

I'm in the same boat. Can't decide between 20 or 30. after seeing some 40% that looked really classy, I'm basically lost now!

I have 5% in the rear windows and 33% up front. Can't really see much at night out the hatch, but I couldn't see much out of it to begin with sooo... not really a big deal for me. When traffic is behind me i can see them just fine during the day and their headlights still get dimmed by the mirror at night.

Hey thanks for all the advice guys.
I'm also thinking of maybe going 20-25% for the small windows and back. Then 30% for the two front. Or should I just stick with the same all around, I dont want it to look cheesy. |
