Real Carbon-Fiber Dash and Door Inserts

No problem buddy, ya I'm interested to see that dash console reinstalled. Oh and what shifter piece is that, for an auto or manual?

Interested as well, but not for my Nismo, for my Motorcycle.
Nice work by the way.

Some questions on the method to do this:

Is this cloth vacum bagged to remove air bubbles?
If not how do you go about ensuring none exist?
Also, how do you ensure it does not seperate from the stock plastic parts?

Reason I ask is that they are different hardness, and flexibility, if you say, lean against them hard enough, will it cause the outer shell to crack and or seperate from the base layer?

I will start looking for a center dash trim piece (with the air conditioning vents) and will get in touch when I get it. Great work, the carbon looks perfect!

I would love to know how much this costs, I mean that is some seriously nice work. I am wondering what the turnaround time would be once you receive someones stock parts?

To answer all questions....I don't vacuum bag. It makes it easier somtimes but not necessary. Multiple coats makes it possible to get no air bubbles. Even with a bag u can get some dimples too so not any better or worse end result. I've tried all the techniques. And pieces normally take about 2 weeks from start to finish, depending on how busy we r at the moment. PPlease PM for any prices or questions, its tough to keep up with the thread. Oh and pricelist coming soon

I could be interested in the radio dash kit... I wish I hadn't already finished putting in the new radio, although it still isn't working right so it will have to come out at least once more anyway.

I would like to see some more pictures of it from the back, sides, etc so I can try and see how it compares to the one I just got from crutchfeild. Is that just somebody's dash kit covered in carbon fiber or is it a new piece? If it's recovered how much thicker does it get by adding another layer?

what I have works, but the knobs seems to be just the slightest bit sunken in from what they were, and if I could it would be great to have the radio fit flush without the extra trim ring. If both of these were met with your piece I would probably get one, pending a price of course?

If you have an aftermarket headunit, you'll need to get the metra kit. Its not that much thicker with the carbon.
