Their turn around time was 3 weeks as well and I have to send me wheel to them

Details, bro details whats the minimum order?

Ya, I lower the cost a bit ($1150) yesterday before posting this thread up. I checked into our cost again and have some room so I'll put the370 member price at $995.
Still not cheap, but much better :)

It doesn't surprise me that they do it in Taiwan for that cheap. In this case though, we're going through what is probably a series of middle men to get it so it ends up being much more by the time it gets to us.

If you guys end up going forward with group deal, please just make sure the source is reliable. It's a lot of money to risk. Best of luck!

Do you still have to send your wheel in?

bullitt5897 12-22-2010 06:12 PM

yes but I have a spare aftermarket one lol

also they are shipping this out to Japan to get done.

NewYorkJon34 12-22-2010 06:50 PM

I think i'll go a different route, how hard is it to take apart the stock steering wheel anyway?

No matter how I look at it... $1000.00 is a lot. What I don't understand is, how is it $1000? I mean if there were massive amounts of parts to cover, I would understand but its just a steering wheel. The labor can't be that bad. Seems very unreasonable ~~;; but lookts tight!
