I contacted Joe at ZSpeedPerformance.com and asked him if he would be interested in doing a group buy for this.
The piece weigh 4lbs. and Joe says he would be glad to offer a lower price if I can get some people interested.

I definitely need this since I'm lowered and daily drive my Z in pot hole city New Orleans.

ive always wanted to get one of these... i hate taking out all the plastic just to change oil

It looks like this item would have to be completely removed as well to do an oil change no? Isn't the filter and drain toward the front passanger side of the car not the back? I'm not really sure what the access panel in the back on this thing gains you. Hopefully I am just wrong and that panel does actually get to the drain and filter, if this is the case Im interested.

If you read the description it says you can access the oil plug and filter without having to remove the whole thing.

I was going to order one but I will wait and see if you can get this GB started. Count me in.

yah, that's going to be a pretty tight space to do the work...

id' be down. thats pretty cool. would be better than having to bend the flap and put a tension clamp on it to keep it out of the way.

Familiarize yourself with Bungee cords, because they are the savior against the oil flap resistance; there are holes that accommodate both ends of the hooks.

Does this work for nismo's?

Seems like there are plenty of better items for this car that you can spend $199 on. Do you guys show the underside of your cars often? It's easy enough to change the oil with the stock plastic piece.

no, it cracked during an off at little talladega and then must have been scraping along the way because it had a big hole in it.

i doubt it. our underbody plastic is larger than than standard Z.

damn the blasted "body kit only" edition of the 370! This is something I really could have used, considering my oil change is coming up again.
