370Z ZSpeedPerformance Aluminum Engine Under Shroud

I contacted Joe at ZSpeedPerformance.com and asked him if he would be interested in doing a group buy for this.
The piece weigh 4lbs. and Joe says he would be glad to offer a lower price if I can get some people interested.

I definitely need this since I'm lowered and daily drive my Z in pot hole city New Orleans.

Let me know if you guys are interested and see if we can get a good deal on this.

lazer_Z 12-19-2010 10:26 PM

im def interested in this! keep us updated

XwChriswX 12-19-2010 10:37 PM

I'd be interested in a GB as well.

Trips 12-19-2010 10:43 PM

I would suggest contacting Z1motorsports for a group buy price as well as a buying from them since they are a sponsor here?

It looks like this item would have to be completely removed as well to do an oil change no? Isn't the filter and drain toward the front passanger side of the car not the back? I'm not really sure what the access panel in the back on this thing gains you. Hopefully I am just wrong and that panel does actually get to the drain and filter, if this is the case Im interested.

If you read the description it says you can access the oil plug and filter without having to remove the whole thing.

kellyefields 12-20-2010 10:55 AM

I was going to order one but I will wait and see if you can get this GB started. Count me in.

phelan 12-20-2010 11:00 AM

kenchan 12-20-2010 11:02 AM

yah, that's going to be a pretty tight space to do the work...

Jeffblue 12-20-2010 11:03 AM

id' be down. thats pretty cool. would be better than having to bend the flap and put a tension clamp on it to keep it out of the way.

MB370Z 12-20-2010 12:08 PM

Just sent an email to Z1 and I sent a message to Dustin at Z1. I will let you guys know if I find out any more info.

daisuke149 12-20-2010 12:15 PM

Forget e-mails n all. Talking with Chuck@z1 and they are putting the numbers together to get this GB going. So I think we'll hear something on it soon.

Familiarize yourself with Bungee cords, because they are the savior against the oil flap resistance; there are holes that accommodate both ends of the hooks.

Fly1 Motorsports 12-20-2010 02:29 PM

Would be interested in GB...

Chuck@Z1 12-23-2010 09:09 PM

Hey guys.
I'll try to get the GB up and going tomorrow morning. I had plans to do it tonight but just didn't happen.
Teaser: $199 at least 8 people. If more want that's fine but will be a slight wait on delivery.

JHuynh912 12-24-2010 01:12 PM

Does this work for nismo's?

spearfish25 12-24-2010 01:44 PM

Seems like there are plenty of better items for this car that you can spend $199 on. Do you guys show the underside of your cars often? It's easy enough to change the oil with the stock plastic piece.

no, it cracked during an off at little talladega and then must have been scraping along the way because it had a big hole in it.

i doubt it. our underbody plastic is larger than than standard Z.

specZ 12-28-2010 06:19 PM

damn the blasted "body kit only" edition of the 370! This is something I really could have used, considering my oil change is coming up again.

Red__Zed 12-28-2010 08:17 PM

I'd be interested in a GB
