what is this/what does it do?

anyone know what this thing is? i was hoping it was just a dummy connector holder, but theres actually pins inside when you remove the connector. this is underneath the

Default what is this/what does it do?

anyone know what this thing is?




i was hoping it was just a dummy connector holder, but theres actually pins inside when you remove the connector. this is underneath the foam in the trunk, behind the spare tire and between the strut bar. im guessing it might be important if something is connecting to it heh. reason im asking is because i want to remove it and i couldnt find anything in the service manual really pertaining to it...unless im missing something here

I think it has something to do with the airbags or the weight sensors in the seat or something like that. I wouldn't mess with it.

I'm pretty sure that is one of the keyless entry antenna's, relocating it would only affect the range of the antenna.

yup thats it! referenced the manual and found that its the "Inside key antenna (luggage room)"

shouldnt be a problem relocating it then, thanks guys!!
