Default Passenger Door Mis-alignment

I noticed a squeak when I opened the passenger door today. Since I am always the one driving, I never noticed this until now. Originally I thought it might be that the hinge needs some lubrication. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the squeak is actually from the bottom edge of the door contacting the center mudguard. It's either that the door is too long(or tall) or that the hinge is a few millimeters off from where it's supposed to be, causing the bottom of the door to rub against the center mudguard.

Anyone had similar problem before? I am planning to take it back to the dealer as I don't think there is something I can fix myself. They might need to give me a new(shorter) door or.. cut off the part of the body where the hinge is and weld on a new hinge??

I can't believe Nissan have missed a defect as obvious as this in their QA though. Very disappointed...

I doubt that the size is off. My guess is that it's out of adjustment. I had a car years ago that did the same thing. When I wrecked the car, the bodyshop actually fixed it by pulling the door up to bend the mounting points. There may be a much simpler adjustment, but that is an option.
