...is epic, I would love to see something like this. Like others, I am not a huge fan of big body kits, and good lord the 370 is wide enough to begin with, a widebody kit will just cheapen it I fear. I would like to see them make something unique to Veilside, but also keep everything very OEM looking at the same time. I want to look at it and say "ah yes, this is how it should have come from the factory". This is my favorite lip for the 350 for reference as well, if the lip could incorporate a center section that goes up over or replaces the fangs I would love it. I'm not sure how well lip kits honestly work on a car like the 370Z. So far, every single lip kit I've seen for this car just comes out being over the top and I think it has something to do with the fangs on the stock bumper as well as the curvatures along the sides of the bumper. IMO it'd be best to just make a full replacement (something clean like Zele).

To come on here and criticize an example I pointed out, is counterproductive at best, and offensive at worst. We, as a community, and myself personally are thrilled to be a part of the process of building a new product, but it has to come to a point where Veilside must take ownership of this and provide us with the level of quality we all have come to expect from you in a product and a company. Hey, relax ctzn - as a designer you know that discussion with the client is a vital and important part of the process...
1. Listen to the client 2. Discuss with the client 3. Agree with the client 4. Go away and design exactly what you wanted to do in the first place (ignoring the client) 5. Return to the client and convince them it's what they wanted.

I like the open forum for discussing design direction and I am happy to be a part of that. But I don't want to hear why things won't work, I want to discuss solutions to what we would like to see. I am sure there are plenty of great ideas out there within the community so I hope people speak up, and I hope Veilside can take the feedback and do what they have always done so well, and make a killer product. I will keep digging up some examples and try to relate their features to the 370 and how I would like to see it. I look forward to the results. |

I honesty look forward to it. I am happy to throw some things together as well to give a clearer picture of our goals as well, but really I am excited about this project for you.

Sorry for the late response, as of now veilside has put aside trhe 370z project to go forth with new kits for lambos and ferraris ...
however i am currently working with Extreme Dimension on a new kit which will include (Front/rear bumper. Front fenders. Side skirts. Hood, Spoiler, Roof spoiler) .. Once everything is done I will show all the progress photos and finals product!! |
