Interior Door Lights
 

At the risk of ridicule and shame -- both public and on this forum -- I pose the following question for consideration and comment:

Are the rectangular lights located on the inside of each door supposed to light up? If so, then under what conditions do they do this?

no, they are reflectors just like on the 350z...lol....

Wouldn't be that hard to add lights though. When I was putting n speakers I thought "hmmmmmm".

Which makes no sense. I try and keep my doors closed when my car is moving

IIRC, for the door light mod, rig the lights to the auto-window door switch. :)

they are reflectors so that when you open the door no one will hit it on the side of the road

I guess Nissan NA is being cheep. Other markets 370z light up when the door is opened

Yep, there are those who do not the Z plastered on it, but maybe it can be hacked off and then the lens polished-up?

those folks even spelled infiniti wrong....
