yah, that is an idea. but i still might have a problem removing it due to VHB madness. :D hahaha.

i think i would trim the lip side vs the CF.

you got a sick colour combo of car and wheels, looks awesome

I though about that but how much lower will the mud guards sit? I'm sure the first speed bump will rip them right off.

The factory mudgruards don't really sit any lower. They're flat on the bottom and are only lower by the thickness of the piece, so maybe 1/4". What they do more is flare out to the side. They should not really cause any clearance issues and they would balance out the thickness of the front lip.

I agree. The splash guards on my car help balance out my JP Vizage front lip.

This is not the greatest picture showing both, but you can see both the lip and the front splash guard.

Here is a side view.

If it's only the thickness of the plastic then it shouldn't be an issue. I know for sure the sides on my Z barely touch the speed bumps. It might touch a little more with them on but I can live with that lol! I'll probably go with those first. About to google them now!

Junior370z 12-16-2010 05:13 PM

Dang $80? I they were cheaper lol!

Jessobear 12-16-2010 05:43 PM

Think of it as cheap insurance. You'll have some $80 parts scraping the speed bumps rather than your whole side skirt.

Lip looks good but our cars need a full kit, front sides and rear to look complete... That design is perfect.. If you added shine sides and rear you'd have the perfect setup!

Also, if you ever need to drop your car at a shop any body shop should have contacts with rental cars, you can rent a car for 30-40 dollars a day and they will have it at the shop waiting for you..

Im jelous of the 350z guys, they have atleast 3-4 lips that are super clean and go just fine with stock sides....

I just got my lip from Motorsport Z1 for good price and it fits like a glove. ;) I know that there are more than 5 types of styles for the 370Z, the only thing is the price and maybe the (snowplow) design of some of them.

I do agree having a lip the side should have some meat to them to balance the look. I think the mud flaps will be enough with help with an addition of a wing. I'm hoping mud flaps and the mine's wing, it will have the look I'm going for!
Thanks!
