taking apart the push button ignition to paint the button

i have a crazy idea but i think it will be really cool if done right. i want to take out the starter button itself from the module, get it custom painted, then re-install it. i know getting it painted will make it dark at night but that's ok, that's what the interior light is for ;-) are there any forums on how to take that apart, or is it even possible to get just the very button itself out of the module? my mod would look really cool and would definitely post pics

I would just swap it for the GTR's. Here's DIY: http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...-swap-out.html

What are u gonna paint on it? I don't see any screws or anything like that so I am guessing you just have apply pressure to the clips and remove the housing... how about masking and then painting? That would save u the trouble of removing the button itself (and possibly damaging it). Just my 2cents :)

that's probably gonna be the best route. i have an M on my back that is kinda like my "symbol" for everything, and thought that would be cool to get painted on there, something unique, that only i would have

Here's how to take it apart: DIGItonium Start Switch

 Rep point DIGI if you find it helpful.
