Aspherical Mirrors/ROW Mirrors
So, I come from a vastly euro market and these mirror were easy to get a hold of was wondering if anyone has them, or can tell me where to get them, i think they would be a great benefit, as the inner ~80% is like normal mirror and then the last ~20% is bowed a bit so you can see further.
Similar to these, but these are for a MKV GTI/Golf (yes i stole the image from oemplus.com) Any input is appreciated, this isn't a WTB thread but a want to find where i can buy... TIA

I saw this post a while ago, not exactly the same, and pricey:
Interest in wide angle side mirror lenses?

Multivex makes wide angle mirrors for many cars. Not available for the 370Z yet.

am i the only one who has noticed that the OEM drivers side mirror is already slightly bowed? I noticed it the day I got the car. when cars pass in oncoming and i look at them in the drivers mirror, they appear wider than they really are, then look normal again when i can see them in the interior rear view.

It is slightly, but not to what im looking for I guess you could say, i am looking for both mirror to be similar to the one i posted, no blue tint and for both passenger and drivers side. Nothing like driving in lane three and being able to see lanes 1-5. In europe and other countries they require these, generally on one side. I would like to get both sides which make it more complicated?
and OEM pieces...

You are exactly right ! just like we have discussed in other threads here....but a lot of people here just refuse to do that.....no matter how many times we tell them how to set their mirrors to avoid the blind spots. I can tell you this, the rear and side vision problems were much worse in the 240Z and in 1970 there were no motors in mirrors and no rear view cameras Last edited by FERRARI; 11-30-2010 at 11:33 PM. Also the VW ones I posted are not for a Nissan as I said it is just a reference image. Thanks again. I am an OEM+ modder I make the surface look like it hasn't been touch while everything has been massaged in on way or another. Opinions are as good as lint, I'm looking to track down a company or for a lead of someone willing to send me a set from another country and or piece them together... Also a bit about the warm climate have you ever used your heated mirrors in the rain, oh what a difference. Yeah I might live in San Diego, but am not from here. I am well aware of what other uses they have being from NY. And what does location have to do with anything? Both leads posted in the thread a linked to mirrors cut to original shape, the first one even has heaters, the problem is I am not a fan of the blue or the fact they are non-OEM. All I'm asking for is help, thanks for bumping the thread!
