Seeing out the back

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but the 370z does come in a convertible. Problem Solved.

Just takes some time to get used to. I have the nismo so visibility is even worse than the standard z but after a few days of driving you get used to it. Like others said just make sure u take ur time when backing up and maybe get a rear view camera if you are still having trouble.

all is well until it's a rainy night and you have to back out of a tight parking spot. just invest in the rearview camera. it's worth every penny on the z.

But you learn to live with it.

I have to transition from my DD car, a honda fit, to my weekend warrior car, the Niz.

Talk about adjustment.

But well worth it.

I've daily driven my 370z for about a year now and honestly I don't have any issues. At first the rear view does seem very limited but after about 2 weeks of driving you won't have any problems. Also, if you get the Z, make sure you take the time to adjust your mirrors to eliminate 99% of your blindspots and you will be fine. Honestly the cars a dream to drive daily even with a manual.... the car certainly slides in and out of parking spots easy.

I haven't had any real issue backing up after only having the car for a few weeks. It seems like the dimensions of the 370 are easy to learn. Plus I just rev it a few times when coming out of a parking place to warn people hehe.
I have to admit though, it would be cool to have the little back-up monitor inside the rear-view mirror like in the 2011s: 2011 370z options

I try not to park next to full size pick-ups or those with long beds....kinda gotta creep when backin' out :P ....... but overall if you just are aware of your surroundings and use your mirrors you shouldn't really have any problems drivin a Z....other options: BACK-UP CAMERA, Always Back into parking spots, tell your passenger to get out and STOP Traffik???? NO Passenger, No Problem....just keep 2 TRAFFIK Cones in the Hatch Place cones to left and right of area needing coverage :P

First thing I noticed was the poor visibility, was never too fond of the 350z so I never bothered getting in one, but the 370Z is so beautiful, I didnt let the visibility stop me from buying one, I do have to lean forward and look left when veering left on the highway, I also learned that parking in reverse in way better, and if I have to park forward I creep out extremely slow, My fiance bought me a rearview cam for the 370Z for xmas, she wont let me install till xmas I told her that its probably a good idea to get one, found out today that little square on the rear bumper pops right off and the styrofoam inside is cylinder shaped perfect for a rearview cam. Minor sacrifices made for a beautiful car IMHO
