opinion on leather
 

I have a 09 base with sports package with cloth seats...

have read some have changed to leather... any idea on the cost of this.

and any opinion if you think it is worth the hassle

Check out katzkin... cost would be in the ballpark of $1500 to $2000 if I remember correctly.

I got mine done by Nissan they out sourced it to a local shop and it was under 1000. Looks just like the stock seats. I think the kit they used was roadwire??

I don't plan on changing mine as I wanted cloth, but I do like the 2 tone look. :yum:

2k is way too much. 1k is more in like with what you should be looking at. Be careful on the door panels, I've seen some look pretty good, but more that look awful......

ive got quotes from 600-900 for seats and door panels (katzins and others), but ive yet to see pics of seats without wrinkles or in the color i want, so i havent done it yet. one day though... after i wear out the stockers.

do your seats look completely OEM or do they have wrinkles as well?

even one wrinkle would bother the crap out of me

yea i have wrinkles on my cloth seats now and i cant stand them :shakes head: . If they were leather and had wrinkles after some wear i might be able to deal with it a little better.

Nope look oem all the stitching follows the oem pattern. I did tell them I would be very picky about the quality. I also have a 5 year warranty if anything happens.

im trying to contact roadwire to see the price of either a 40th red kit or a persimmon kit...and to see if they recommend any shops down here to install. I dont want to spend more than 1K so we'll see. Thanks for the info +1 rep

I emailed them last night. Lets see if they answer today.

The color I got was pumpkin that was as close to the persimmon as I could get. My pic I have up looks alot more bright then it is. But I love it I always get people saying somthing about it.

They answered my email and attached a PDF with our seat schematic and she will be giving me info on a local distributor soon.



Can you please post some more detailed pictures of your seats, if you dont mind.
