Shift Knob Sequence Pattern

246 Does anyone have any suggestions as to how this could be done? Is there some sort of decal that could substitute for the paint? |

I'm pretty sure there is a vendor here that sells a sticker with the shift sequence, that could be placed somewhere in the interior. But since you have the sport package, I'm guessing you aren't just looking for the shift sequence to be more pronounced. Just trying to help!

To answer Why............I'm having some custom interior work done and the detailer said he has done similar work on porsches and little details like the shifter sequence helps make the interior "pop"
Only issue is is there some decal type solution as I agree paint would wear off too fast |

The sequence is already on the Syncro-Rev button!
Maybe you could find a guy who does interiors and he could stitch the pattern on the knob. He'd probably have to pull the leather off, embroider the sequence, and then reassemble the knob. It'll cost much more than just buying an aftermarket knob.

There is a nice leather NISMO knob that has white lettering on the top of the knob (NISM in white and O in red). Again, I've not seen the look you are after and am just brainstorming here. I obsess over shift knobs and know that if I have a picture in my head, nothing else will do.

Since it is indented, I think it would last pretty good.
I'd suggest a paint pen and some careful application, or hire a pin striper BTW, there is special (acrylic) paint for leather, and I assume white shoe polish would also work.

Thanks for the input to one and all.
I'm probably not going to go ahead with it. Seems like a huge effort for such a little change. Although it would look great when integrated with the other upgrades |
