looks pretty smooth.

what type of paint and prep procedure did you use to black out the nissan badges? also... any closeups of your headlights? (sorry, i also have a black 370z and am contemplating the blacked out headlights and badges)

did you add a remote battery post so you can hookup jumper cables/charger if your battery dies?

GZ3 11-09-2010 03:42 PM

that look awesome! how do you open the door?

if you go into my build thread, there are a lot of pix of everything. link is in my sig. to paint the emblems i just cleaned them with rubbing alcahol and us black engine paint laying around. i did like 4 thin coats. it actually looks really good and only took a few minutes and the paint isnt chipping at all, its been like that for months

oh and if the battery does happen to die, there is a hidden cable and if pulled, the door pop open. its hard to get to though

everything out the door cost me $530. my fiance's cousin hooked it up and did a great job imo. there is a little gap between the door and the rear panel, but its close, and couldnt get it close. regardless it looks good and im happy with it
