What most would consider acceptable pricing:
1: CF Hood keeps clean lines but with Vents ($800-$1500)
2: CF Front Fenders stock width ($600-$900)
3: CF Front Fenders stock width with Vent ($600-$900)
4: CF Front Fenders 1" (+25mm) wider width ($800-$1000)
5: CF Rear Fenders 2" (+50mm) wider width ($800-$1000)
6: CF Roof Overlay ($600-$800)
7: CF Roof Replacement ($1000)
8: CF Hatch Stock ($600-$900)
9: CF Hatch with a Duck bill spoiler built in like ($700-$1200)
10: CF Working Rear Diffuser ($400-$600)
11: CF Interior Pieces (depends on part)

This is an idea of what the market pricing looks like... people may be willing to pay more but the lower the price the more units you will move. A proper set of fenders and even wider fenders is what people are really craving on the site. Also, look to several people on the site who have done designs for the car as we are the customer and we have the same tastes and mindsets as your potential customers. Also, the pre-order idea is fantastic and will get your initial costs covered in the first run. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions I would be more than willing to help.

Hojo,

This would be your direct competition:
SEIBON :: Products :: NISSAN :: 370Z

Hojo 11-12-2010 07:49 PM

Thanks Mike for that info!

if it yielded the best horespower gains? i would buy it, and so do many people on the s2000 community, if something is truly great, and worth the money, people will buy it

I'd like fenders with vents that are in the lines of the way the GT-R GT1 race teams have them on the top side of the fenders... I think it would look great. Hojo, can you PM me if you get the chance? Would like to discuss something.

Did anything ever come of the talks of producing fenders or from the E-mail that you sent to MRWorks?

ThoriumHotdog 11-30-2010 10:35 PM

Fenders seems like the best way to go. The demand is huge and I hope you go with mrworks style fenders.

Ron 11-30-2010 11:17 PM

+10000 on the MRWorks fenders, I WILL buy them if the price is right. Also I would be interested on the CF cover for the nismo rear diffuser that was mentioned above

This is another fender design that I actually think looks better than the MRW's:
