HID's....which are the brightest
 

i am looking to buy HID's i want to know which are the brightest i want to get 6k for my pearl white z can anyone help??

Most actual lighting experts will say 4300k. The closer you get to actual white, the brighter it is. Anything under 4300k and it begins to yellow, anything over begins to turn blue and darkens.

5000k is bright white...6000k has a hint of blue. Go for the 5000k

I have the 5000k and they look great.
I'm actually about to get some 6000k just becuz my leds are brighter than my headlights :shakes head:

I have 8000k and love them. It's bright white with a hint of blue. Why change them and not have a considerably noticeable difference? Go 8000k!

I'm thinking of changing my stock ones purely for performance/functionality. I drive a canyon road to get to work and it's dark. I've seen a few people who've hit dear (yes there are dear in Orange County). I'm scared of those f-er's lol.

Thanks for that info ^^, I confirms what I've read (that 5k is the most light).

Now that I know what range to get, are there any cars that come factory with 5K's that will last long like OEM that I can use? I've seen that Sylvania commercial with that guy changing the lights on his daughters car. They claim you get a wider (more light on the sides which is good for dear spotting) and further down the road. Anyone know what kelvin those are or can reccoment another good brand? On non-HID cars I've used PIAA, that all the experience I have with bulbs.

I agree! Plus with past HID's I have done in other cars I have liked the 8k the best 6k looks to much like stock IMO..... 10K is to purple, maybe if it was a chic's car!

yeah i think i will go with 5k but what brands or manufacturers are the best for hids becuase i have bought some and they were ok but in the rain i could not see ish so i want a really good brand now...

Phillips 85122+ are regarded as some of the best. they produce a pure white 4300k output. thats the absolute brightest.
