replacing the oem ds2 headlights with the 8000k

anything about 6000k would look almost blueish right? might get pulled over by a cop then.

It's not THAT bad. The highest K temperature I'd go is 6000K. Any higher, and you're just losing lumens at the expense of having a "blueish hue" to your headlights. 4300K looks a little yellow for my tastes to be honest. You won't have any problem with anywhere between 4300K and 6000K.

Phillips Ultinons are EXPENSIVE, but they're worth it.

Compared to my other cars (with standard headlights) these are pretty darn blue stock.

4300k is pinkish and is what manufacturers call "soft light". "White light" is 5800k and is what color daylight is. you don't really see blue until you are over 6000k.

Lol. No. That's where all these mods and trends start. Cops are pretty lenient too. You can drive by a cop on the freeway at 80 and he won't even bother you. I'm sure you can rice a car out enough that it will piss the cop off to where he will bother you, but all my cars for the last 10 years have been running 35% tint all around, aftermarket exhaust, lowered and either 6k HID or blue HID look bulbs, running lights and clear side markers/turn lamps and ahve never been bothered for any of my mods. It's just that the laws are strict for emissions and safety stuff.
