Honestly my wife parked next to a CL the the other day. The car was covered in dings and dents in which each one had it's very own bandaid. I told my wife she had to move the her car.

You should try to repair the damage first. It will be difficult to remove the lip once its on. You'll need to paint the Evo-R lip anyways. So if your looking to save some cash, do some of the work yourself. Sand down the area, fill (using bondo bumper repair), spray down primer and sand ready for paint. You could try using rattle can's or just have the shop paint it while you get the lip painted. The black "paint/primer" that's already on the Evo-R lip is not meant to be a top coat and scratches up/ chips rather easily. This site has all the materials you would need including paint. I would of just got the Nismo S-Tune lip color matched and just slap it on. Problem solved cheap, no need to prep, sand, paint or pay for install labor.

Ddvette, I know it's been some time, but I see you're still somewhat active on this board. Can you give an update on this? I'm curious to see your results!
