Well you are right about that, i want it to look clean... i am going to do the lambo doors, and i am in the process of ordering some MRW Headlights. I am just trying to see what the Z would look like, becuase i am going to have LED's with the system and in the drivers and passenager side...

I have thought about installing some underbody lighting to illuminate the door area when I unlock the car at night, that would be about the limit of any underbody light for me personally.

Please don't do this. Please don't. Please.
The ground doesn't need more illumination and lambo doors are called lambo doors for a reason. Frankly there is no way you can add underbody illumination without it looking rice. Just like you can't add chrome stick-on pieces from PepBoys without it looking like rice.

Everyone is right it will look rice, but it is your car, do what you want. If ricing it out is your thing go for it. But, don't look for support here. This is a forum where people are enthusiasts and have respect for cars to not do anything that looks cheap or is associated with "cheap" and cheap looking accessories. Underbody lights are mainly associated to cheaper cars (not that anything is wrong with that) and it's not good to throw a classy car as the Z into a group of civics, neons, cavaliers, and focuses. Not being mean, just letting you know, again it's your car. Do as you please, but don't mention topics like that here expecting positive feedback, because it just annoys ppl. If I were you, I would spend that underbody light money on something else for your car. Save up for an intake or something, just a suggestion. Enjoy the Z!
