Ok, so Phase One Complete. The EVO-R LED Rear Fog Light is physically mounted... Ran out of daylight to do the wiring. And I've hit a snag lol

I need to remove one of the rear interior panels to get to the inside bolt for either side's taillight harness... However, due to my having the Zenclosures Sub box in the back, unless I want to unwire and disassemble the whole stereo to take that out (Single-handedly) which would take about an hour, or I find another way to get to the wires... (pre-harness)

So I'll do the wiring tomorrow.

As for wiring, I'll have the 'on' wire routed to the tag lights, which should be no biggie... it's just getting to the reverse light that's gonna be tricky...

Also, after getting up under the car and undoing the fog light bracket, I noticed there is a plug already prebuilt into the location. Have any of you guys that have installed a rear fog light already used this plug for anything? And if so, it only has 2 wires to it... Do you know which is the +/-???

Heres a pic:

I like that. Does that require any wiring mod?

Wiring Directions that came with my kit:

Yea , on that it says orange is the brake light wire, but in a forum members DIY I have read it has orange as reverse wire and green as brake ....

also , when wiring this up if I just want it to light steady with brake light and blink in reverse I do not need a constant power wire ran to the light ? Just wire each fog light wire to reverse and brake light wires...

I might have mess up the instruction. Should be green for brake!

Check the end of the fog light install DIYs. I've been asking similar questions on both. I believe there is a beige wire (hot) and the other is ground. The biege ends in the BCM, pin#24 in the p-side kick plate (footwell). Someone said the ground was functional, but I haven't investigated where it terminates. At least one forum member (CBRich I think?) has used this wire (connected to the accessory power and a switch) for his JDM fog light.

I was thinking it would be great to use both (or one) of those wires for switched power.

Is there a pic showing how the light sits in the bumper?
