Default Just received my parts

I have the CF mirror covers, B-Pillars, CF fangs and Black pearl emblems.
I test fitted the fangs and they don't seem to line up correctly. Everything looks good but there's still a little blue showing in the upper parts of the fang. Anyone have this problem? Also, as far as the mirror covers, do they require glue or 3m? They sent me some kind of gasket glue. I quickly searched the DIY threads, but didn't find anything. Thanks

Hi,
curious about the look of black emblems, please post pics when there installed...from what I've read in postings the cf fangs do line-up but needs alittle work wiggling/pushing.
good luck.

sophia- regarding the fangs unfortunately this is considered 'normal.'

you would use either e-tape or black paint to cover that area up BEFORE you install the fang.

electrical tape. the black vinyl-ish tape electricians use.

mirror covers should be doable with some double-sided tape and some pushing to get it on snug. not sure why you have caulking or something. i'd leave that alone and use DS-tape so you can remove it easier later on.

For the front/rear emblems, just take some string or fishing line, work it back behind the emblem, and saw it off. It'll take about a minute each.

I installed front fangs and side mirrors with double tape and silicone both, specially for side mirrors silicone(not sure about which glue you are talking about).

I had my fang part painted black from before so have no idea about the fitting looks alright to me just upper left corner was bit loose so applied silicone there as well after first fitment

Looks good. I'm planning on doing the same mods, but on my MB. Still debating on getting the CF rear diffuser though.
