Headlight Mods

I have read both threads from MR Works and 180. I want to do this and soon. So, it seems that everyone who has gotten this done from both companies is pretty happy with little or no complaints, and whichever one I go with is a toss up. However, they BOTH seem fairly hard to get a hold of. I have sent emails and PM's to a seemingly deaf ear. Does anyone know either of these people directly that can get me in touch with them? Heck, 180 has a couple of phone numbers, but nobody answers the phone or text (which is what they said to do).

So everything else being equal, I would guess that whoever responds first, gets my business, unless someone can convince that one is better than the other. I'm all ears if someone has info. Thanks for the help. :tiphat:

As said in my post above, I have sent PM's to both Marco and Ryan. Still waiting for a reply. I guess I'm having a hard time being patient cause I want, like yesterday. Never have been good at patience when I want something!! My wife always said I was spoiled. I just never listen to her. ;)

hey ill be giving them a call tomorrow. I have pretty good luck getting in contact with them so ill definitely tell them to check there pm's so you can get in contact with them. :tiphat:

Defintely drZ! Thank you. Car is in Cali right now, so it would be easier to get it to MR Works. But if 180 contacts me first, I can send it there.

It is also SEMA time and most venders are trying to get everything all finished up in time.

Didn't even think about that. Thanks Kaien. But that doesn't help my "want it now" factor. :p

Hi Wayne,

Sorry for the delay with getting back to you. I know you messaged me this morning and we are real good with getting back to people within 24 hours, usually less. Unfortunately, someone bashed our MRWorks truck and tried to hotwire it this morning when I saw it at 7:00AM. We have been all over town getting replacement parts and windows to fix the vandalism and theft. I guess you caught us at the wrong time.

Moving forward, we are completely booked until the first weeks of December. If you are still interested in setting up an appointment for that date let me know and we can discuss further. It sounds like your car is in Cali temporarily, but I don't exactly how long it will be here. All our appointments are set first come first serve.

Once again we are sorry that there was a lag in response today, which was uncharacteristic. But we are happy to say the MRW truck is back up and running!

Damn, sorry to hear that Marco, what a downer! :(

dixon cider 10-22-2010 07:11 AM

Sorry about the truck!! That sucks. Anyway, just sent you a PM.

Not cool on the breakin, but cool on getting back to customer's quickly and with realistic time frame that is very refreshing. Thanks again. :tiphat:

I can vouch for Marco and Ryan keeping in touch. They went above and beyond in my opinion when I was working with them to get my headlights modified. Was very nice knowing they were keeping me in the loop at every step!

they were responding to my pm's couple of days ago. definitely caught them at the wrong time. I can't wait to build up funds and get my car sent in to these guys... excited...

Just talked to Marco on the phone. I have to say, he is a very nice guy. They are busy which is good, but it got compounded with their truck incident today. He gave me everything I needed to know and explained the process in detail. Thanks Marco! It was nice talking to you. I was impressed. This is most likely the route I will go.

Thanks,
Wayne

PS. Someone buy his Supra so he can buy a Tacoma!!

Glad to hear you got it all sorted out. It will be worth the wait in my opinion as they do some excellent work. Good luck!
