Search on google for D2S xenon bulbs. You'll see tons of replies. You can also change the hue if you want. Are you changing the bulb to change the hue/color temparature or originals are burned out? //offtopic // btw, creative signature quote ;) // offtopic // |
I'm currently looking into getting Philips Ultinon D2S 6000K bulbs whenever I get around to doing the headlight swap/mods. Hopefully I can do dome comparison shots as well.

Thanks AK! I guess i searched the wrong keywords...:icon14: i actually haven't gotten my Z yet, but it'd be here soon next month and I've always been a 8000K hue kinda guy. Oh and I'm from Singapore and this forum rocks! :tup: |
8000K is inane! That's like purple. I knew a guy who had a pair on his G35c, and I could barely see anything in front of his car. If you're not worried about night viewing, then you're good to go.
I can't wait to slap on 6000K Ultinon bulbs :-) |

Nah... 8000K is blueish... I think the colour you're thinking about is closer to 10000K, which would fit your description of not seeing anything... I've used 6000K before and it's got a light purpleish hue... But my bulbs are quite cheap Korean made ones which are decently durable so maybe they have a different chart! lol |
4.3k = Yellow (Most visible light to the human eye)
6k = Light blue/white (what BMW/Audi/VW/Porsche/Ferrari/Aston/etc use) 8k = Aquaish/blue 10k = Blue 12k is dark blue/purple. (very low visible light) |
