Squash air fresheners...
 

Okay, I elected to leap into the squash scent bandwagon...

Ordered some My Shaladin squash air fresheners -- smells citrus-y. Nice, but nothing special...

Is this the magical, exotic scent people have been raving about? :icon14:

It's good, but I'm not impressed.

I tried out the whole squash air freshener thing a while ago too and came away with the same impression, maybe everyone loves them cause it's JDM yo!

I would have been happy if it at least smelled somewhat like a squash.

Attention Japan: Squash do not smell like fvcking oranges or lemons.

This is like ordering a pumpkin scented air freshener that smells like root beer :icon14:

my shaldan sucks. get better air fresheners. i personally like the smell...probably because everybody else's car smells like ***. so getting into my Z and sniffing squash = win

with that said...you really thought your car would smell like real squash? that...doesn't smell very nice, i think. :rofl2:

these friggin things are huge on the clubrsx forums and honda-tech. they treat it like its god's greatest gift, second only to third gear VTEC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you got the wrong one, you have to get the squash one itself. Gotta get the CS-X3 and get the squash fills for it. Thanks for reminding me, I gotta get refills!

Oh god no, I don't like the smell of actual squash. Its nothing like it. Its very hard to describe, but I've never had anyone say they didn't like it. I really would try to, but I don't know of anything else that smells like it.

I think there's also a JDM air-freshener scent called "Samauri Man"... what the hell does that smell like? :ugh:

Personally like the My Shaldans. The thing is all thier scents smell different but ya they seem to all have a slight citrus smell mixed in.

Also squash smells nothing like real squash. Try the air spencer one it's more "squashy" than the My Shaldan but it's stronger. I don't know if you saw my comment on the other vendor post but if you tear the whole cover off the air spencer it can get quite strong. I mentioned before I had a coworker once you could smell coming down the hall lol.

Just go out and buy some Ed Hardy fresheners ;) They can have my money any day, especially the one with the bulldog :) Smells sorta like mens cologne:yum:
